In 1989 my father, Ken Duda, opened his first Sun Tavern in Union, NJ. As a young girl I was fortunate enough to work side by side with my Dad. He taught me many lessons of the restaurant business. In 1991, he opened up The Sun Tavern Roselle Park. After that, Ken went on to open up several other locations. His best advice to me was always to "keep the beer cold, the food hot & tasty and the atmosphere warm and friendly." In 2011, I began a new chapter in the story of The Sun Tavern Roselle Park. The one constant in that story is Mike Dann, our General Manager. Mike predates Ken's purchase of The Sun Tavern Roselle Park when it was Charley's. Together, Mike and I are continuing Ken's dream of a Tavern that is affordable for families with a fun relaxing atmosphere. Come in and say hello, stay for a pie or take one to go!!!
